Job summary

The successful candidate will recruit, mentor, and lead a Private Banking team, build books of business through referrals, and present financial solutions to clients

Qualifications

• Five years of successful business-level sales experience.
• Five years of banking leadership or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with face-to-face customer service, digital engagement, and sales/referrals.
• Broad knowledge of banking regulations related to commercial lending and deposit products.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact for onboarding, maintaining, strengthening, and retaining the bank’s valued business clients while connecting appropriate partners as necessary.
• Build individual book of business and help the team develop their own books of business; seek prospects through COIs, referrals, and networking.
• Lead the Private Banking Team as a role model, mentor, leader, and champion; recruit and maintain headcount aligned with growth objectives.
• Coordinate activities across branches and departments to ensure One Team collaboration and consistent performance standards.
• Present bank value proposition and educate clients on technology-enabled channels when appropriate.
• Identify areas for client service improvements and promote Tri Counties Bank’s values and vision.
• Move forward with clients and colleagues using marketing tools and digital technology to present financial solutions.
• Act as SME for Commercial Lending, Treasury and Branch Banking and adapt to needs of each business line.
• Provide leadership, team building and role modeling to establish a best-in-class culture through employee experience and workplace excellence.
• Coordinate across multiple business lines including Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Home Mortgage, and Tri Counties Advisors.
• Partner with CRA/Fair Lending on opportunities related to community development and CRA lending.
