Job summary

Peapack Private Bank & Trust is seeking an Universal Banker II in Chester, NJ, to provide exceptional client service and manage the full client experience. You will identify cross-sell opportunities, educate clients on banking technology, and partner with other lines to grow wallet share.

The role requires a Notary Public commission and flexibility within banking hours. The position emphasizes a culture of hospitality, integrity, and teamwork, with opportunities to participate in branch

Qualifications

Experience in Retail or Hospitality preferred, Banking experience a plus
Must be flexible to work within banking hours (M–Sat)
Customer service experience and strong communication skills
Notary Public commission required
Knowledge of branch technology and sales processes helpful

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service to all clients and manage the full client experience
Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to partnering business lines
Open and process a variety of banking transactions and accounts
Assist with branch operations, audits and daily cash handling
Maintain confidentiality and provide proactive, white-glove service
Stay current with banking regulations and policies
Engage in ongoing training and team meetings
