Peapack Private Bank & Trust in Warren, NJ is seeking a Universal Banker II to deliver exceptional client service, manage the daily branch experience, and identify cross-sell opportunities across personal and business banking.

You will support customers with technology tools, open a range of banking products, and work closely with teammates to exceed client expectations while maintaining high standards of privacy and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or client-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service to clients with required protocols and best practices.
• Learn branch technology and educate clients on usage.
• Develop and manage consumer and business accounts; identify growth opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing training and sales meetings.
• Understand products and services to uncover client needs.
• Open products such as checking, money market, CDs, IRAs, Netteller, Debit Cards.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and maintenance.
• Provide supervisory overrides in manager's absence.
• Assist daily branch operations: reporting, audits, cash vault, coins and currency.
• Ensure work is processed and proofed at day end.
