Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Privacy Risk and Control Professional to oversee the EDPP program, ensuring governance, risk management, and compliance related to privacy and data protection.

The role collaborates across lines of business to safeguard personal information and meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong knowledge of privacy laws, and experience in risk/compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• J.D. preferred but not required.
• CIPP/US certification strongly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with privacy and data protection laws and regulations (GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, state laws).
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess organizational impact.
• Identify, assess, escalate, and monitor enterprise privacy and data protection risks.
• Drive remediation efforts for regulatory examinations, audits, and identified control weaknesses.
