Envestnet is seeking a senior leader for its US data privacy program. You will report into the CISO/CTO organization and guide privacy policy, risk assessments, and incident response while managing a distributed team across time zones, including India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of data privacy program management experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Working knowledge of US privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, state privacy laws).
• Active privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT) or equivalent expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature Envestnet's US-based data privacy program, aligning with CCPA/CPRA and global regulations.
• Serve as a senior leader and backup to privacy leadership for continuity and succession planning.
• Directly manage distributed privacy team members, including performance management and career development.
• Build and scale the privacy function through hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
• Lead privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and privacy-by-design reviews with Product and Engineering.
• Support incident response and breach notification processes with the security organization.
• Develop and operationalize privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
