CalPERS seeks a Privacy Program Officer (Information Technology Manager I) responsible for ensuring privacy by design in all technology solutions, compliance monitoring, incident investigation and breach response as well as security awareness training. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, reinforcing the department’s commitment to data privacy and security.

Telework Information

For this hybrid position, you’ll enjoy up to 40% (two days) remote work, each week!

The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). Discuss how you addressed situations where their work was incomplete or inaccurate, and how you would determine their readiness for greater independence. What outcomes did you aim to achieve through your approach?
