The salary ranges reflect State classifications with multiple pay bands. The Analyst I will review case information, gather documentation, follow up with members, prepare recommendations, and assist with meetings, events, and quality review

The Program Support Team within the Disability and Survivor Benefits Division is seeking an Analyst I to join our team. This position supports a variety of sensitive and meaningful work, including overpayment collection, unclaimed benefits, benefit verification, and death benefit inquiries. The Analyst I will review case information, gather documentation, follow up with members, prepare recommendations, support process improvements, and assist with meetings, events, and quality review efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, collaborative, and eager to make a meaningful contribution.

Telework Information

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Effective July 1, 2025, The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that each employee shall receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range(s) included in the job advertisement do not reflect the 3 percent reduction in pay.

Minimum Qualifications
