Qualifications

• Extensive experience in privacy, compliance, or data protection roles with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Excellent project management skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and/or vendors.
• CIPP certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct reports and manage workload and performance.
• Set operational direction for platforms to meet evolving privacy standards.
• Decide on onboarding/offboarding of systems.
• Evaluate scope and risk of new platforms or tech integrations with privacy in mind.
• Determine response paths for privacy-related consumer complaints while balancing compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Allocate team resources and engage external contractors to meet privacy needs.
