Job summary

Toyota Deutschland GmbH privacy governance team is seeking a hands-on manager based in Plano, TX, to lead privacy operations and regulatory alignment across systems and consumer interactions. You will oversee data subject requests, platform compliance, and vendor engagement to support privacy programs.

Qualifications include a law/business/IT degree and 2+ years in leadership roles, with strong knowledge of GDPR/CCPA and project management skills to drive multiple initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in privacy, compliance or data protection.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and CCPA.
• Solid project management with multiple initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct reports and manage workload and performance.
• Set operational direction with Senior Manager for privacy platforms.
• Decide on onboarding/offboarding of systems.
• Assess scope, risk and priority for new platforms or tech integrations.
• Determine responses to privacy-related complaints with balance of compliance and satisfaction.
• Allocate resources and coordinate external contractors during peaks.
