Responsabilidades

• Process requests for protected health information per HIPAA and hospital policy.
• Review requests for proper authorization and determine release of information.
• Retrieve and securely distribute medical records using electronic systems.
• Serve as a resource for patients, providers, attorneys, insurers and internal teams.
• Protect confidentiality by releasing information only to authorized individuals.
• Use independent judgment on legal, regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
