Qualifications

• Experience with privacy engineering, privacy reviews, data governance, or privacy-preserving ML.
• Ability to conduct privacy reviews and threat modeling, document findings, and drive remediation across teams.
• Experience with consent, preference, identity, and tracking technologies in advertising/measurement.

Responsibilities

• Help build privacy into ads ranking and targeting systems.
• Partner with engineering, product, legal, security, and data teams to translate privacy requirements into practical controls.
• Develop and scale privacy-preserving approaches and auditing practices.
• Design and implement privacy controls for production systems.
• Lead privacy reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for products and data flows.
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity workflows to ship scalable services with rigorous standards.
• Support privacy-safe advertising and measurement.
• Evaluate privacy-preserving approaches for ML systems.
• Help define and evolve privacy standards and tooling across Snap.
