Job summary

Google is seeking a Privacy Engineer to advance privacy design within the Global Business Organization. You will own privacy outcomes for complex initiatives and partner with engineering and product to deliver scalable, privacy-preserving solutions while preserving user trust.

You will mentor peers, influence roadmaps across business units, and help position privacy as a strategic driver of growth across Google’s ads ecosystem in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 4 years in a privacy-related field (e.g., security/data/privacy).
• 1 year designing privacy solutions across multiple workstreams.
• 1 year applying privacy technologies to technical/data problems.

Responsibilities

• Own privacy outcomes for workgroups with a year-long horizon.
• Collaborate with engineering/product to architect privacy-enabled solutions.
• Resolve policy/product conflicts by communicating technical risks.
• Lead cross-functional groups to improve privacy posture across teams.
• Mentor engineers on privacy principles and reforms.
