Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Data Privacy Specialist to help develop and execute the global privacy program. You will coordinate across teams, manage privacy assessments, and ensure compliance with privacy laws while protecting personal and company data.

In this role you will partner with Cybersecurity, Compliance, IT, Legal, and Marketing to embed privacy requirements in new and existing processes. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
1–2 years privacy or digital marketing compliance preferred.
Familiarity with U.S. and global privacy laws and regulations.
Experience with digital marketing, advertising technology, tracking technologies, consent management platforms.
Experience with Syrenis, Adobe, and/or Google products.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of GM Financial's global privacy program to ensure compliance with privacy laws.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and manage privacy assessments.
Work with business partners to embed privacy requirements within processes and projects.
Assist in coordinating Privacy Impact Assessments and cookie/SDK scans.
Support privacy notice revisions and cookie banners; assist data privacy managers as needed.
