Job summary

Holland & Knight seeks a Privacy and Compliance Analyst to support firm-wide privacy initiatives and risk assessments. The role involves data protection, investigations, and remediation efforts across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of compliance experience, with strong communication and Microsoft Office/iManage proficiency. This position can be based in our Tampa Operations Center or Dallas location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of professional compliance experience, including privacy familiarity.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients and teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and iManage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Firm's data protection initiatives and processes.
• Conduct risk assessments (client risk, DPIAs, AI assessments).
• Conduct investigations, inquiries, and remediation efforts.
• Support privacy and compliance initiatives (privacy by design, data minimization).
• Develop and assist with corrective action plans.
• Monitor and audit processes involving personal information.
• Address internal audit findings and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Create and maintain procedural documentation.
• Participate in privacy controls strategy and governance.
