Job summary

Ray Thomas is hiring a Data Privacy & Compliance Analyst in Dallas to join a top-ranked national law firm. The role offers exposure to privacy, data protection, DLP and AI compliance, and collaboration with experienced attorneys and business professionals in a stable environment.

This hybrid position supports privacy initiatives, client risk assessments, investigations, and documentation, with two days remote per week.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of relevant compliance experience.
• Privacy or data protection experience.
• Client risk assessment experience.
• Strong communication, research and analytical skills.
• Experience with GRC, AI privacy, iManage or certifications such as CIPP, CIPM or CCEP would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the firm’s privacy and data protection initiatives.
• Conducting client risk assessments and data protection assessments.
• Supporting data loss prevention efforts.
• Conducting investigations and helping develop remediation plans.
• Monitoring internal processes involving personal and sensitive information.
• Assisting with privacy, compliance and emerging AI assessments.
• Creating procedures and documentation for compliance initiatives.
• Working with attorneys, clients and cross-functional teams.

The firm is open to candidates from law firms, banking, consulting and other highly regulated industries. Previous law firm experience is helpful but not required.
