Job summary

One Park Financial (OPF) is seeking a Privacy & Data Governance Director to strengthen and run our privacy program across platforms like Salesforce and AWS. You will set rules for data classification, retention, anonymization, and AI governance, partnering with Legal, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and IT/Security.

You will own policies for data handling, conduct privacy impact assessments, support SOC 2 audits, and drive post-implementation testing of controls with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in privacy, data governance, or information security compliance, incl. 3+ years in fintech or regulated industry.
• US CIPP and/or CRCM certifications preferred.
• Experience building/enhancing a privacy/data governance program including data inventories and retention schedules.
• Knowledge of US privacy and record-retention laws (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, ECOA/Reg B, BSA/AML).
• Understanding de-identification, pseudonymization and deletion methods and tradeoffs.
• Experience supporting audits (SOC 2, internal/regulatory).
• Ability to work with technical teams; write clear requirements; use Jira.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the data classification policy and governance over confidential data across systems and vendors.
• Maintain privacy policies and standards aligned with law and partner requirements.
• Run privacy impact assessments for new products and major changes.
• Support SOC 2 audits and third-party reviews for privacy compliance.
• Lead retention programs including schedules and secure disposal.
• Coordinate with Engineering on retention/deletion controls in production systems.
• Define governance standards for generative AI tools and prompts.
• Specify data loss prevention and data discovery tool requirements.
• Test privacy controls in key systems and report risks to leadership.
• Serve as privacy point of contact for audits and regulatory exams.
• Help build privacy training for employees.
