Job summary

One Park Financial in Plano, TX is seeking a Privacy & Data Governance Manager to strengthen our privacy program across Salesforce, AWS, and partner tools. You will turn policy into practical controls and establish data classification, retention, anonymization, and deletion rules.

You will collaborate with Legal, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and IT/Security to lead audits, define generative AI governance, and guide data loss prevention initiatives, while shaping training for employees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in privacy, data governance, information security compliance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• US CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) and/or CRCM certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience building or enhancing a privacy or data governance program.
• Knowledge of U.S. privacy and record-retention requirements for lending.
• Understanding de-identification, pseudonymization, and deletion methods.
• Experience testing controls or supporting audits (SOC 2, internal audit, or regulatory exams).
• Comfort working with technical teams and Jira for remediation.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the data classification policy and governance over confidential data across systems and vendors.
• Maintain privacy policies, procedures, and standards matching law, partner requirements, and risk appetite.
• Run privacy impact assessments for new products, systems, vendors, and major changes.
• Support successful completion of SOC 2 audits.
• Assist with third-party reviews to align with privacy and data governance requirements.
• Lead the retention program, including schedules, legal holds, and secure disposal.
• Partner with Engineering to specify retention and deletion controls in production systems.
• Write and maintain governance standards for generative AI tools and data prompts.
• Help set requirements for DLP and data discovery tools.
• Test privacy and data controls in key systems and report gaps to leadership.
