Job summary

One Park Financial is seeking a Privacy & Data Governance Manager to strengthen and run our privacy and data governance program across platforms like Salesforce and AWS. The role collaborates with Legal, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and IT/Security to classify, retain, anonymize, and delete data while addressing AI-related risks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in privacy and data governance, with fintech or regulated industry experience, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in privacy, data governance, information security compliance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• US CIPP or CRCM certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience building or enhancing a privacy/data governance program.
• Core knowledge of US privacy and record-retention requirements (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, ECOA/Reg B, BSA/AML).
• Experience testing controls or supporting audits (SOC 2, internal/regulatory).
• Comfort with cross-functional teams; ability to write clear requirements and work with Jira.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the data governance policy and classification program across systems and vendors.
• Maintain privacy policies, procedures, and standards aligned with law and risk appetite.
• Run privacy impact assessments for new products and major changes.
• Support SOC 2 audits and third-party privacy reviews.
• Lead retention programs and data deletion/disposal controls with engineering.
• Define governance standards for generative AI tools and data prompts.
• Set data loss prevention and data discovery requirements.
• Monitor gaps, report risk trends to senior leadership.
