Job summary

Socket.dev in Richardson, TX is seeking a Privacy and Compliance Program Manager to own policy design, control implementation, and privacy program governance across the enterprise.

You will lead DPIAs with the BAL council, coordinate audits for ISO 27001/27701, manage data governance and OneTrust administration, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders; telecommuting may be possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field and 60 months of progressive experience in privacy/compliance program management.
• Ability to lead privacy policy development and DPIA activities across a multi-service organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage privacy policies, controls, processes and leading practices.
• Coordinate with BAL ISPC to modify or develop privacy policies and processes.
• Own privacy activities for GDPR, EU-US DPAs and other compliance requirements.
• Lead DPIAs to identify data protection risks and mitigations across the organization.
• Coordinate privacy audits and external assessments for ISO 27001/27701.
• Support third party privacy assessments and risk management.
• Oversee contract reviews related to privacy terms and data protection addendums.
• Serve as SME for OneTrust data governance and privacy mapping.
