Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Unit Manager for the McRae Women's Facility in McRae-Helena, GA. The role plans, directs, and monitors mental health services for inmates assigned to the unit, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and state regulations.

The MHUM will lead treatment staff in evaluating and planning treatments, delivering therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients, and managing daily administrative operations of the unit within the prison

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Mental Health Professional license preferred; Registered Interns and/or new grads may be eligible for intern license.
• Current tuberculosis documentation and CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, direct, and monitor mental health services for inmates in the Mental Health Unit.
• Direct treatment staff in evaluating, planning treatments, and delivery of therapeutic services.
• Manage daily administrative operations of the Mental Health Unit.

Education
