Job summary

Centurion Health provides mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are seeking a part-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at McRae State Prison in McRae, Georgia.

The role involves mental health case management, intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and delivering individual and group therapy. Masters-level degree is required with GA licensure eligibility, TB documentation, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
• Eligible for mental health professional license in Georgia.
• Current TB documentation and active CPR certification required.
• Minimum of two years’ direct mental health care experience preferred.
• Must pass background investigation and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management in a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake and assessments for patients.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy; consult with a multi-disciplinary team.
