Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising inmates during food prep, ensuring timely meal service, and training on Aramark recipes while maintaining proper portions and dietary needs. Strong emphasis on security and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain production guidelines per Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes and training.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies and secure storage areas.
• Return and secure kitchen tools, keys, and equipment.
• Prepare work and sanitation schedules and ensure adherence.
• Assist in inventory, receiving, and storage of food items.
