Job summary

North Carolina Department of Adult Correction in Raleigh is seeking a dedicated professional for the Correctional Food Service Supervisor I role to oversee the NCCIW food service at an all-custody facility. You will supervise officers and offender workers and ensure timely meal service while maintaining safety and sanitation.

The position requires experience in large-scale food production, strong menu planning skills, and leadership abilities within a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of related food service or corrections experience.
• Experience in large-scale food production in a controlled facility.
• Ability to supervise staff and offenders and maintain sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large-scale food production inside an all custody facility.
• Oversee preparation and service of regular and therapeutic diets for offenders.
• Coordinate daily food preparation, menu planning, sanitation, and recordkeeping.
• Utilize food/nutrition systems to prepare and serve meals.
