Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and the food service team inside the Sampson County Jail in North Carolina. The role focuses on supervising kitchen operations, ensuring sanitary handling of food, and serving meals per recipes and schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, and preferably prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience; must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Prepare and instruct inmate labor and staff in food preparation per planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure all food is stored properly and in sanitary conditions.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and policies.
• Train other food service workers and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
