Job summary

The University System of Maryland is seeking a Higher Education in Prison Field Coordinator to support the ASA in implementing a grant-focused program to help justice-impacted students. The role emphasizes continuity after release, alumni community building, and collaboration with Maryland colleges to connect students with needed resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in reentry support, student services, workforce development, or related fields.
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Implement retention, reentry and student success strategies across USM and partners.
• Develop training materials and conduct trainings for staff supporting justice-impacted students.
• Maintain an alumni network of justice-impacted graduates.
• Support regional education and reentry hubs and coordinate with partner campuses.
