Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a Reentry Coordinator within Project Rebound. The role requires designing pathways to help justice-involved students access higher education, providing trauma-informed advising and comprehensive case management, and coordinating with correctional, community, and campus partners.

The Coordinator guides prospective students through admissions, FAFSA/CADAA, transcripts, and enrollment, ensuring continuity from pre-release to campus life, while aligning with university

Qualifications

• Lived experience with the criminal legal system.
• Experience in student services or reentry services is desirable.
• Ability to advise and support justice-involved students.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain reentry pathways for justice-involved students.
• Coordinate admissions, financial aid, and enrollment processes with campus partners.
• Provide trauma-informed advising and case management.
• Develop and manage pre- and post-release engagement strategies.
