Job summary

University System of Maryland is seeking a Higher Education in Prison Field Coordinator to advance reentry and student success across Maryland campuses. This one-year contract supports the Aligning Services for Justice-Impacted Students initiative and related prison education efforts.

The role emphasizes partnerships with USM institutions, alumni network development, and regional education/reentry hub coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in reentry support, student services, workforce development, social services or related fields.
• Experience with diverse or underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of retention, reentry, and student success strategies.
• Support campuses with transitioning students from prison campus to community campus.
• Develop training materials and conduct trainings for justice-impacted students.
