Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); familiarity with Access/Outlook/PowerPoint/Visio preferred.
• Ability to multitask and use multiple systems simultaneously.
• Basic pharmaceutical terminology, calculations and protocols.
• Willingness to learn, problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members with professional, courteous service.
• Process prior authorization reviews and document findings accurately.
• Escalate complex questions to the pharmacist team as needed.
• Assist with outbound calls, fax/ePA processing, and mailbox inquiries.
