Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking an Authorization Specialist to initiate and manage prior authorizations for infusion and pharmacy services. You will coordinate with franchise partners, payers, and internal teams to ensure timely submissions and favorable outcomes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to processes to reduce denials and improve collection rates. A background in home infusion billing and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English; effective with patients, payers, and colleagues.
• Strong understanding of billing, authorization, and collection processes.
• Ability to review documentation, identify gaps, and take corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Review patient files for completeness to submit prior authorizations for payer reimbursement.
• Communicate status with franchise partners, payers, and VCI departments.
• Document activities and schedule follow-ups to resolve authorization issues.
