Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication access by coordinating prior authorization requests, benefit investigations, and MSOT workflows within the Epic system. You will manage complex insurance requirements and serve as the primary contact for PA needs, with duties including other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern in Michigan.
• 1 year Pharmacy Tech work experience.
• Understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance plans.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, diagnosis codes, and PA criteria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prior authorization requests and benefit investigations within Epic.
• Provide high-quality support to providers, office staff, and patients across ambulatory clinics.
• Manage complex insurance requirements and serve as the primary contact for PA-related needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
