Job summary

Polytainers is seeking a Machine Operator / Press Operator in the Printing Department to operate a printing press and handle packing/unpacking of rigid plastic containers and lids. The role may require performing one or more responsibilities based on daily needs, under the Printing Shift Supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Tear down of printing presses including job kit verification and line clearance.
• Run all lid and base presses (six- and eight-colour) and pack/unpack boxes per customer requirements.
• Visually inspect product quality at the packing station and maintain trends.
