Job summary

Polytainers in Missouri is seeking a Machine Operator / Press Operator to join the Printing Department. You will operate a printing press, pack/unpack rigid plastic containers, and support setup and maintenance tasks on a fast-paced shop floor.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English fluency, and the ability to work with moving machinery and noise. Team collaboration and adherence to 5S, HACCP and safety rules are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or asset.
• Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and maintenance of printing presses, including line clearance and plate replacement.
• Operate lid and base presses and manage packing/unpacking per requirements.
• Monitor product quality at the packing station and maintain trending tray.
• Update job cards and daily scheduling boards.
• Follow safety policies and 5S, HACCP, and health and safety rules.
