Job summary

Jostens is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Clarksville, TN facility. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of printing presses (Heidelberg, KBA, Komori, Kodak inkjet) and related equipment.

You will diagnose issues from blueprints and schematics, perform complex repairs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely service. A strong preventive maintenance background and the ability to read measuring devices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Good computer skills with MS Office, especially Excel & Outlook.
• Must be a team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints & schematics.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair printing presses such as Heidelberg, KBA, Komori, Kodak inkjet presses and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Assist in installation, relocation, and commissioning of production equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance and environmental regulations in all maintenance work.
• Work independently and with team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
