Job summary

Jostens, located in Clarksville, TN, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair printing presses and related equipment. The role requires interpreting blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and coordinating with vendors for timely parts and services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Good computer skills with MS Office (Excel & Outlook).
• Team player with positive interactions at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Able to stand, bend, climb and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must have forklift certification.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and equipment.
• Experience with machine installation and rigging.
• Safe use of hand tools, power tools and shop equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair printing presses and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Assist in installation, relocation and commissioning of production equipment.
• Minimize downtime and support production goals through preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and prioritize tasks by safety and production needs.
• Stay current with evolving maintenance technologies and practices.
