Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department in a manufacturing setting in Neenah, Wisconsin. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, and assist with packaging finished rolls while handling viscosities and ink dispersion as needed.

This role offers team-focused work in a climate-controlled environment with rotating 12-hour shifts; forklift experience and ability to fill in for the Press Operator are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Shift: 2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
