Job summary

MCC in Chesapeake, VA is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operators to support our premium label production. Prior experience not required, on-the-job training provided; you will monitor print and seam quality, handle rolls, and contribute to efficient packaging lines.

We offer $18.00–$21.00 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on/retention bonus, and a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to use Windows-based applications.
• Attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records and enters data on designated paperwork and in Globetek.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
