Job summary

MCC is seeking a Finishing Machine Operator to join our Chesapeake plant. This role supports quality checks of prints and seams, handles splicing and material handling, and records production data in Radius.

The position is on the 2nd shift with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with printing processes, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check print and seam quality continuously.
• Remove defective material and splice roll web per spec.
• Utilize ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handle rolls and palletize to prevent damage.
• Record data on paperwork and Radius system.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
