Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a skilled Press Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts to manufacture printed labels while monitoring quality and press conditions. The role requires adherence to safety rules, efficient make-readies, and accurate documentation within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of printing press operator experience or training.
• Ability to stand for long periods and frequent walking.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete make-ready per Job Ticket and Product Specifications.
• Perform press-side quality checks and inspections for product specs and ink adhesion.
• Operate press to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Ensure conformance to all quality checks and document measurements per standards.
• Complete press make-readies efficiently and perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Clean plates, cylinders, ink pans and lubricate press; update GlobeTek system with material usage and time.
