Job summary

The Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS) within The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services seeks a graphic arts professional to coordinate the production of agency publications in a full-time Columbus role. You will manage print schedules, budgets, vendor quotes, and internal requests to ensure timely, compliant materials.

Responsibilities include proofreading, inventory management, and collaboration with staff to meet business needs while pursuing cost savings and process

  • Collaborate with communications, program, and administrative staff to ensure materials meet business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with state records retention and accessibility requirements where applicable.

Office of Employee and Business Services

The Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS) provides customer service and operational support to ODJFS through five bureaus: Business Services, Civil Rights and Labor Relations, Human Resources, Multimedia Services, and Training and Educational Services. OEBS customers include all ODJFS employees, clients, service providers, county agencies, and the public. Learn more about the office by visiting the ODJFS OEBS webpage.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate the production of brochures, forms, manuals, reports, posters, and other agency publications.
  • Manage print project schedules, budgets, and timelines from concept through delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments requesting print services.

Schedule: Full-time.

Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM.

Location: 2098 Integrity Drive, Columbus, OH 43209.

Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.

The candidate, at minimum, must have the following:

  • 12 months training or experience in graphic communication technology.

Option 2

  • The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Pay Information

This position is in the State of Ohio’s OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 29. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $24.88 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
