AD Solutions is seeking an experienced Printer Repair Technician in Florida to diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced office technology. You will deliver hands-on service in the field, build strong customer relationships, and ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

Expect to diagnose copiers, scanners, printers, and related devices, perform preventative maintenance, and manage repair tickets using company systems. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years diagnosing and repairing copier equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Technical or vocational school degree is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with networking and internet protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot digital networked copiers, scanners, printers, wide-format devices, and fax machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on color and B/W office equipment.
• Utilize company systems to manage service call tickets and document repairs.
• Provide clear, professional updates on repair status to customers.
• Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with tools and parts.
• Stay current on new and legacy equipment enhancements through training.

What You2ll Do

As a Printer Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining advanced office technology solutions in a designated service area. You will provide hands-on technical support while building strong relationships with customers, ensuring their equipment runs at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with digital networked copiers, scanners, printers, wide-format devices, and fax machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on color and black-and-white office equipment.
• Utilize company systems to manage service call tickets, update part usage, and document repairs efficiently.
• Adhere to proper troubleshooting procedures, including firmware updates, part replacement, and maintenance intervals.
• Use software on a company-issued mobile device to receive and close repair tickets.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering clear and professional updates on repair status.
• Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with the necessary tools, parts, and inventory.
• Stay current on new and legacy equipment enhancements through tech manuals, online learning, and manufacturer training resources.

What You Bring to the Team

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing copier equipment. (Sharp, HP, or Brother brand equipment repair is appreciated, but we highly value relevant experience and the aptitude to learn).
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently in the field while staying connected to the larger support team.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with networking and internet protocols is a plus.
• Valid driver9 s license and clean driving record You9 ll be servicing customers onsite.
• A degree from a technical or vocational school is a plus but not required.
