Job summary

Amcor in Jackson, TN is seeking a Process Technician to set up equipment, adjust production rates, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and yield. You will work with shift teams to drive improvements and maintain process controls in a climate-controlled facility.

Candidates should read, write and speak English, have basic math skills, and be forklift certified. Electrical/mechanical aptitude and familiarity with molding processes are valued.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret instructions and traveler/work orders.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and adjust production rate to meet specs and yields.
• Analyze molding defects to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Communicate with shift personnel on quality, equipment, and productivity.
• Assist in improving production cells, cycles, scrap reduction, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and SOPs; document procedures.
