Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Printer/Assembler in Lebanon, TN to join a safety-conscious team. The role involves operating printing machines, scanning products with a warehouse management system, and assembling/shipping finished goods.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, and time management required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing machines.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Identify and remove damaged products on receipt.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with information.
• Read work orders or follow instructions for assignments and materials.
• Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and palletize or convey to packing/shipping sections.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to meet company standards.
• Use computer to enter records and accurately match numbers and letters.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and stack boxes/pallets.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
