Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Printer/Assembler in Lebanon, TN to join a safety-conscious team in a warehouse setting. The role offers a competitive wage and benefits with opportunities to learn and grow.

Typical shifts are Monday–Friday, with a possibility of Saturday work. You will operate printing machines, scan items, package products, and ensure accuracy and safety throughout the process.

Qualifications

• No explicit required degrees beyond high school in the ad.
• Reading skills and ability to follow directions are necessary.
• Must be flexible, have time management skills and be able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing machines.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Accurately match numbers & letters.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
