Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Lebanon, TN is seeking Warehouse Associates for a Printer/Assembler role. You will operate printing machines, package finished products for shipping, and use a warehouse management system.

The position requires safety awareness, flexibility to work overtime, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with some days up to 100 lbs. The schedule is Monday to Friday with two shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow directions and safety instructions.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing machines.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Accurately match numbers & letters.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
