Job summary

STERLING NORTH AMERICA INC in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Entry-level Print Room Operator to support daily printing operations under the Print Room Manager. You will assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of printing equipment, load supplies, and stage finished materials to support downstream mail production.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn production processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
On-the-job training provided.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic understanding of mail production processes or willingness to learn production processes and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist Print Room Manager with setup, operation, and monitoring of printing equipment.
Load paper, toner, ink, and other supplies into printing equipment.
Stage print materials and move printed output to designated areas.
Perform basic quality checks for print clarity, alignment, and readability.
Remove completed print jobs and prepare them for finishing or inserting.
Assist with job changeovers, cleanup, and organization of the print room.
Identify and report obvious equipment issues or print defects to supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized print room environment.
Follow job tickets, written instructions, and safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
