Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a prepress professional in Twinsburg, OH with 3+ years of packaging/prepress experience. You will handle artwork preflight, file preparation for plate-making, RIP proofs, and color management to ensure production-ready outputs.

You will collaborate with designers and customers, coordinate embossing/stamping dies with vendors, and follow production schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Strong communication and speed in a manufacturing setting are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in prepress (packaging, labels, or commercial print).
• Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preflight and correct incoming artwork so files are production-ready.
• Build working files and impose for plate-making and final output.
• RIP for proof and press; produce and verify digital proofs.
• Create step-and-repeat layouts and vector art for spot coatings on flexo plates.
• Audit folding carton files for dieline fit, accuracy, and completeness.
• Apply calibrated color profiles and tools to maintain consistency.
• Generate plates and packaging the final, production-ready assets.
• Archive and retrieve jobs using automated tools.
• Collaborate with designers, customers, and production to resolve issues.
• Coordinate embossing and stamping die needs with outside vendors.
• Follow work orders and schedules to hit on-time delivery.
