Job summary

Oliver Inc, a long-standing packaging and printing provider, is seeking an experienced Prepress Technician to join our team. You will prepare customer artwork for high-quality print production, run preflight checks, and create production-ready files while coordinating with designers and production staff.

Responsibilities include imposition, proofing, color management, and collaboration with vendors to ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Prepress experience in packaging/printing.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, and imposition.
• Experience with Epson proofers and G7 methodology is a plus.
• Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and digital proofing.
• Ability to troubleshoot artwork and production issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Coordinate with outside vendors for embossing dies, stamping dies, and other specialty services.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, customers, and production teams to resolve artwork and technical issues.
• Follow production schedules and work orders to ensure on-time delivery.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Prepress Technician, if your background includes:
