Job summary

Qualifications

  • Four-year high school diploma or educational equivalent and two years of full-time experience operating office machines.
  • Associate degree or 60 credits may substitute for one year of experience.
  • All candidates must have a four-year high school diploma/equivalent and at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and supervise staff who operate print production equipment such as digital cutsheet and roll feed devices, color and mono printing.
  • Set up color and mono print jobs using print controller and adjust for page alignment and color accuracy.
  • Choose paper options with appropriate parameters and supervise others in the same.
  • Plan and assign work to staff according to workload and deadlines.
  • Perform spot quality checks on finished materials to reduce waste and defects.
  • Update job status as completed and shipped in the EPS PACE MIS system.
  • Ensure print and finishing equipment are maintained and in good working order.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on proper operation of machines/equipment.
  • Assist machine operators when necessary.
