Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group in Vermont is seeking an Assistant Print Production Technician (Rolltender) for 12-hour day shifts on a full-time schedule. You will set up and operate offset presses, read job specs, install plates, adjust registration, and monitor production with a focus on quality. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with equipment.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and adjust equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single- and multi-color offset presses.
• Read job instructions and prepare presses for each project.
• Install printing plates, adjust registration, and prep for production.
• Make color and quality adjustments to meet standards.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues during production.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs on presses.
