TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking an Assistant Print Production Technician (Rolltender) to join our press team on 12-hour day shifts. You will set up and run offset presses, install plates, adjust color/registration, and ensure quality while working safely with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math (fractions/decimals).
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with equipment.
• Detail-oriented with pride in quality work.
• Able to read and follow job specs and adjust equipment as needed.
• Good teamwork and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single- and multi-color offset printing presses.
• Read job instructions and prepare the press for each project.
• Install printing plates, adjust registration, and prepare the press for production.
• Make color and quality adjustments to meet standards.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues during production.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on presses.
• Work safely and collaboratively with the team.
